Cecilia Howard

Cecilia discovered ballroom dance many years ago when she saw a ballroom dance demonstration at a popular…

… night club in downtown Minneapolis. Then a student of jazz and contemporary dance, Cecilia fell in love with the art and became a student and professional of ballroom dance spending the next seven years as Dance Director, Managing Supervisor & Dance Instructor at a major national dance studio franchise. Life took her into the corporate world of telecom for a major national telecommunications company where for several years she would act as Client Business Manager overseeing a business portfolio of large Enterprise clients. Cecilia also certified as a Strategic Human Resources Manager where she was responsible for the hiring, training activities and shaping culture of a sales center. Today, Cecilia has combined her skills in HR, Sales and Business to act as professional consultant and coach for our Dancers Studio staff. She is thrilled to be teaching again where her specialty is introducing dance couples to the world of dance.

Marcy McHenry

Marcy began her journey as a studio owner when Dancers Studio opened in 1986 in a firehouse on Snelling Avenue.  Eventually with Dancers Studio growth, she envisioned her students and instructors in a much larger, beautiful Grand Ballroom where it thrives today. Marcy has been loving every day since, and continues her innovative and dynamic direction to dance programming in the Twin Cities dance community. Marcy instructs and coaches all styles and levels of dance, but especially enjoys International Standard. When she isn’t on the dance floor, Marcy enjoys chatting with other studio members and spending time with her four children.

Miriam Ziven

Miriam is a master teacher in Argentine Tango in Buenos Aires and abroad. Her igniting style has…

…taken her through National Tours in Argentina, presentations for government organizations, International Theaters, Argentine Television, as well as sharing the stages with renowned stars of Argentine Tango, dance, theater and music. She has had invitations for exhibitions in notable and traditional dance locations of Argentina and the United States, and the list goes on. Miriam has had the honor of being principle dancer in several dance companies. Miriam continues to push boundaries in dance as expression and preserving its traditions and culture for future generations. Miriam has successfully taught workshops, tours, and academic courses that bring dance to people all over the world. Miriam follows the traditions of her teachers by instilling a strong safe foundation of techniques, which are beneficial and useful for all aspects in Social Dance, Athletics and Fitness. Miriam has had created amazing results training amateurs and professionals for national and international competitions and shows. Miriam has acquired degrees for study in Athletic Science and Training at the prestigious NEF in Argentina, Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana University, Bloomington, and Art and Music from Columbia College Chicago. She has a personal training certification from NASM and CFL1 as well as being CPR-AED certified.

Cody Arndtson

Cody Arndtson developed a passion for ballroom dancing through his four year participation on…

..the Luther College Ballroom & Swing Team where he also served for two years as part of the team’s executive board. He enjoys meeting other dancers throughout the Twin Cities and across the Midwest by sharing his love of ballroom dance. Having graduated with a Communication Studies degree, he loves learning about people’s life stories and hopes that he can share his passion for dance with others as well. He is excited to start this new journey at Dancer’s Studio and hopes to meet as many new people as possible.
